The Centre for Environmental Research and Education (CERE), a Mumbai-based non-profit organization, has published an 16-book Series of English Readers entitled A Wisdom of Words from Stds. I – VIII.

The aim of the Series is to develop a generation of sensitive, creative, thinking and environmentally-sensitive young adults by teaching analytical and appreciation skills besides grammar and comprehension skills.

More than 36 prominent schools across India, such as Rishi Valley School (Chittoor), The School - Krishnamurthy Foundation India (Chennai), J.B. High School for Girls (Mumbai), Bombay International School (Mumbai), G. D. Somani (Mumbai), Jamnabai Narsee School (Mumbai), Ramniranjan Podar Senior Secondary School (Mumbai), Hiranandani School (Mumbai), Shishuvan (Mumbai), Bethany High School (Bangalore), Greenwoods High (Bangalore), Sreenidhi (Hyderabad) and Woodstock School (Mussoorie) are already using the books.

The price of each Reader is Rs. 160/- and each workbook is Rs. 125/- with upto 15% discount for schools ordering in bulk. All books can be ordered by contacting the CERE office.
